MP Marjana Koçeku, who on Sunday announced her departure from the Socialist Party parliamentary group and transitioning to an independent MP, has reacted again with a message on social media.

In her post, Koçeku challenged the majority and Prime Minister Edi Rama to dissolve Parliament and hold early elections if he is convinced of the political support and majority of 83 seats in the Assembly.

"I did not take away your mandate as an MP. You took mine, for 10 months in a row. Now the mandate has come to its place. If you are so sure that I will not win without you and you have a full 83 mandates, then dissolve the parliament, go to early elections and measure the strength of who wins what. This time I will take my precious goat with me, along with the sharp shirt, and I will go down to Tirana to run. Before I come, maybe I will get permission from my mountaineers to speak the standard language," she writes.
