This morning's tremors in the northeast of the country have jolted residents out of bed in terror and everyone has taken to the streets.

Journalist Enver Doçi reported for “BalkanWeb"The Gjorica Administrative Unit in Dibër is one of the most affected, as is the village of Topojan in the Shupenza Administrative Unit, where there are also damaged homes."

The Gjorica administrative unit has suffered cracks and damage, and employees have left the offices in fear.

"The administrative unit has been damaged. Employees have left out of fear.
"The building is cracked, the tiles have fallen and a corner is also damaged. In Topojan, 4 apartments are cracked and in the Gjorica unit there are damaged apartments," reported journalist Enver Doçi.

Meanwhile, residents say they felt 4 tremors and that they all went outside.
"We were scared, we all left the house. There were 4 tremors. The third one was the strongest."
"We all went outside. We were expecting a bigger tremor, but thankfully there wasn't one."
"We went outside out of fear, don't go out."

It is also learned that the emergency headquarters has been convened, while residents have headed to administrative units where they are reporting the damage.
