At least five people, including a child, have been killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon today, the Lebanese Health Ministry said, adding that 48 people were injured.

According to Lebanese health authorities, among the injured are a doctor and five employees of the Tebnine Public Hospital, which suffered damage from the bombing.

In an official statement, the ministry condemned the attack on the health facility, describing it as part of a series of strikes carried out by the Israeli army against hospitals and medical centers in Lebanon.

The attacks come at a time of high tensions on the border between Israel and Lebanon, as local authorities continue to assess the damage and toll.
