From the city of Berat, the State Police, in its capacity as President of SEPCA for 2025, led the proceedings of the Regional Assembly of Police Chiefs of Southeastern Europe.
The Director General of the State Police, Mr. Ilir Proda, in his capacity as President of SEPCA, stated in his closing speech that Kosovo should also be part of SEPCA:
"No excuses and no barriers should hinder cooperation in the fight against global crimes. We have a noble and difficult, but not impossible, mission: to fight crime and guarantee order and security for our citizens."
“Open and honest cooperation between police and law enforcement agencies is the strongest message against crime. While crime knows no borders or colors, neither should we act with emotions or color. The law is our bible. Citizens are our treasure!”
“Let us deepen cooperation for the rule of law and for the benefit of the citizens of our countries! SEPCA is missing an indispensable member — the Kosovo Police. I hope that, with the understanding and support of all participants, it will soon become a full member and not just an invited member.”
