An Albanian living in the US and who joined the protest in Tirana said that this civic movement is important for the future of the country and called for it to continue.

"This protest is giving Albania a breath of life. If this protest stops, Albania will die. I have worked in this country in the police for 20 years. I love Albania, but the law must come first," he said.

Speaking about the country's political past, he also accused former Prime Minister Sali Berisha of responsibility for developments after the '90s.

"Saliu committed a crime with 7501. Albania travels without pain, because many Albanians have been killed," the protester declared.

In the end, he conveyed a message on behalf of Albanians in the US and expressed hope for a better future for the country.

"I bring you greetings from Albanians in America. I hope that Albania finds the right path between these Capedan boys and girls. Albania will survive, the traitors will get what they deserve," he said.
