Activist Edison Lika, at the 66th protest against Edi Rama, said that Albanians have given the country a lesson in citizenship and democracy for 66 days in a row.

He also stressed that they will not leave the square until Rama leaves.

"We are continuing the 66th day of Albanian resistance against the autocracy of Edi Rama. For 66 days you have given this society a lesson in citizenship and democracy. While we seek revolution, we must not forget that the revolution has already taken place. Who would have thought 66 days ago that Albanians would come out to the Boulevard, demand the resignation of the Prime Minister, and not leave the Boulevard.

The proposal for a new administrative reform would have gone unnoticed, but the fact that the protest has been in the square has opened up serious problems for him. It has ruined his vacation this summer. In all the cities where he has proposed that municipalities be locked up, there have been protests against this decision. But why now? Because they want local government to be concentrated in fewer and fewer hands," he said.
