Albanians have been in revolt for 23 days and are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Protesters have also expressed their revolt through banners: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", "Edi Rama resigns"; "The people share the food for the homeland".

The diaspora has joined the protest, and they express that they are determined and will go all the way until their demands are met.

"Welcome to free Kakomena. Your support helped us. Without the support of the Diaspora, we would do nothing. Long live the Diaspora," said a citizen.

Another protester called for the creation of a responsible government.

"Politicians have destroyed this country, they have taken children away from their parents. Four children abroad, for a living... Our worst enemy is the b*tch-sucking and patronizing people. Edi Rama resigns as soon as possible, because the people do not love you. If the people revolt, there is no one to stop them," he said.
