The opposition is protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the second in a row this year, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Belinda Balluku, following the latter's scandals with tenders.

The opposition accuses Rama and his deputy of corruption and abuse of power, while SPAK has taken the defendant and is demanding the lifting of Balluk's immunity, which is suspended from office by a decision of the Constitutional Court.

Organizers have considered the protest to be crucial and it comes at a moment they describe as the "last mile."

After Berisha's speech, protesters threw Molotov cocktails and set off fireworks towards the Prime Minister's Office building, while police responded with water cannons.

After the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters marched towards Parliament, where they again threw Molotov cocktails and fireworks at the police cordon. For their part, the police responded again with water cannons, but also using tear gas for the first time in today's protest.

We recall that in the January 24 protest, opposition supporters also threw fireworks and Molotov cocktails towards the Prime Minister's Office building, and then gathered in front of Parliament, where clashes with the police were also recorded.

1300 police forces are on the ground to ensure the smooth running of today's protest.
