The popular protest has taken on massive proportions this afternoon in Tirana. Citizens gathered on the boulevard have begun their march along the main streets of the capital, electrifying the atmosphere.
With banners in their hands and determined not to retreat, the protesters have united their voices in a strong call targeting Albanian political leaders.
The crowd's incessant chants are heard in chorus: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison!", thus demanding not only the overthrow of the government, but also criminal punishment for politicians who, according to them, have abused power for decades.
