The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has raised doubts about the work of SPAK regarding the case of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

Commenting on the SPAK investigations against Balluk and the fact that the Special Prosecution Office has not yet submitted a second request to the Parliament for the authorization of her arrest, Noka said that this situation makes him skeptical about the way the case is being processed. According to Noka, Rama cannot abandon Balluk politically, as the latter has evidence that could implicate the prime minister. The Democrat MP described what is happening as a “controlled surrender”.

But his accusations went further, as he also spoke about Ergys Agas. Noka claimed that his arrest was made "on Balluk's orders" and that this had caused strong tension with the prime minister.

"One of the reasons why I view SPAK's activity with skepticism is that the Balluku case should have been closed long ago, a second request for the lifting of Balluku's immunity should have been brought. The issue they are dragging out speaks of a deal with Rama.
Belinda has Ram by the throat with evidence. Ram can't let go. It's a controlled surrender, meaning when they throw evidence and facts at him, he defends her but lets something come out and then says I have nothing to do with you. Because if she realizes he's letting her go, she'll take him with her.
"Today they are in tension because Agasi was arrested on Balluk's orders and Rama is furious. He is ready to defend Agasi and Sueli with his own head," he said.

The investigation into Balluk has expanded in recent weeks. SPAK has announced that it has identified new criminal facts and has seized a villa in the "Green Coast" complex in Palasa, which the Prosecution claims is the former Deputy Prime Minister's actual hidden assets.
