Footage emerges shortly before the start of the 6th intergovernmental conference with the European Union, where the next 4 chapters regarding the integration process will be opened, while Prime Minister Edi Rama is also present.

The latter is in the presence of Adea Pirdeni, Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-Corruption, as well as the EU Ambassador to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato.

The 6th Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference is dedicated to Group Chapter IV: "Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity", which contains areas of particular importance for the economy and business.

The chapters include: transport policies (Chapter 14), energy (Chapter 15), trans-European networks (Chapter 21), environment and climate (Chapter 27)”, which directly affect the daily lives of citizens and are a transformative factor for the long-term development of the country. The Intergovernmental Conference is expected to start at 08:00, while the press conference is scheduled for around 09:15 followed by the meeting of the EU General Affairs Council at 10:00.

At the end there will be some short closing speeches from the EU delegation, Danish Minister Marie Bjerre and Commissioner Marta Kos, as well as from Prime Minister Rama. Albania has so far opened 4 out of 6 group chapters, the so-called “Fundamentals”, “External Relations”, “Internal Market” and “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth”.
