The Inspector General, Dashnor Sula, in his statement to the media before the next training with the leaders and inspectors of inspection institutions in the Fier region, as well as in the framework of coordinating measures and priorities for controls during the tourist season, emphasized that food safety remains one of the main priorities of the work of the inspectorates, especially in this period when the flow of tourists to the country is increasing.

Sula called for increased controls at milk processing plants to ensure that products meet safety and quality standards.

Also, part of the controls will be oil polluting entities, as well as the control of pesticides used on agricultural products.

Chief Inspector Sula also focused on the restructuring phase of the inspectorates, some of which will be merged into a single structure.
