For seven days in a row, Tirana has become the center of anti-government protests. Every evening, hundreds of thousands of citizens gather on the Boulevard and the main streets of the capital, to express their dissatisfaction and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During these rallies, a massive participation of citizens of different ages, families, young people and pensioners was observed, who protested peacefully, holding banners, flags and articulating their demands, with the main theme being the removal of Rama and a change of government.

But what has attracted a lot of attention is the exemplary behavior of the protesters after the rally ended. They stayed on the boulevard to clean up the area where they had gathered. They collected plastic bottles, paper and other waste, then placed them in the appropriate bins.

This gesture has been praised by many citizens as an example of civic culture and responsibility towards public and shared spaces. They set a positive example in relation to the city and the community, even though thousands of young men, women and citizens revolted by misgovernance gather in that square every night.
