Amidst the numerous speculations about his future, Rodri has made it clear that his absolute priority remains the World Cup and the national team.
The Spanish City midfielder stated that he does not want to deal with matters related to his career at club level until the end of the major tournament.
"We are here to talk about the World Cup. As for my future, I will wait until the World Cup is over. It is normal to talk about players going to different clubs. I am the captain of the national team, my responsibility is to be a leader within the group. I will focus on the World Cup," he added.
Regarding his physical condition, Rodri seemed confident and prepared.
"I'm in my best shape. I've had less physical training and fewer matches, but I'm looking forward to leading the team."
