Milan aim to win the derby against Inter this weekend to be in contention for the title. Rossoneri defender Pavlovic spoke before the match.
'We still have 11 games to go, we will give everything until the last minute,' said Pavlovic. 'Looking at our performance, it's a pity that we could have had more points, but the objective compared to last year, this time was to be among the top 4 and we are still in the race.'
The Serbian defender spoke to the daily 'La Gazzetta Dello Sport', 'throwing a little pepper' on the Milan derby. 'The most important match of the season, it will be difficult and maybe Inter will play with less pressure than us - added Pavlovic - but every derby is a story in itself. Leao is right when he says that it is a match for life and death and Milan will be ready.
Pavlovic then wished Gabbia a speedy recovery, believes in Pulisic's return to goal, while not sparing praise for Pio Esposito.
"We will miss Gabbia. Pulisic is the hardest for me to mark in training, he always escapes me. Pio Esposito? He is very strong for his age," said Pavlovic, who did not forget to mention coach Massimiliano Allegri.
'He pays a lot of attention to defense, but the credit goes to the whole team,' said Pavlovic, 'not just the defenders. I've learned a lot of little things from him, to pay attention to details that I didn't consider at first and that make the difference.'
