Today I introduced the new director of the Police Supervision Agency, Klevis Qose. He takes on this responsibility at an important moment for strengthening integrity standards and must continue this mission with dedication, furthering the work to increase transparency, strengthen internal control and guarantee the highest professional standards in the State Police. Thanks to Eduart Merkaj for the dedication, seriousness and integrity he showed during his leadership of the AMP. His contribution has been valuable in strengthening the role of this agency and in consolidating accountability standards. Our commitment to the self-cleansing of the State Police is non-negotiable. Anyone who violates the trust of citizens and the uniform has no place in its ranks. We will continue to strengthen control and punishment mechanisms, supporting every step that guarantees a clean, professional police force at the service of citizens.
