The Director General of the State Police, Skender Hita, held a meeting in Shkodra with the structures of the local police directorate of this region.

During the meeting, the head of the state police appeared dissatisfied with the local police of Shkodra, the director of which he led for a period of almost 4 months in 2021.

Skender Hitë's dissatisfaction with the Shkodra police, according to what he stated at the meeting, is related to the detection of murders, continuing with criminality, criminal groups, cannabis cultivation and trafficking, road traffic, as well as school safety, given that we are before the start of the new school season.

The head of the state police has requested higher results from the Shkodra police as well as greater effectiveness in cracking down on criminal groups and detecting crimes that have occurred, especially murders and drug cultivation, given that Shkodra continues to be a problematic district.

This meeting coincided with the same day when a serious event occurred in Shkodra, the murder of citizen Ylber Luli by the suspected perpetrator Andri Vulaj, whom the police arrested immediately after this crime.

The meeting with the director of the state police, Skender Hita, in Shkodra lasted over an hour.

This meeting was in the wake of several meetings that the police chief is holding in different regions of the country with local leaders and other police structures, leaving clear messages about their work and demanding more results.
