Former Ambassador Roland Bimo has reacted through a public message on the social network X regarding the political developments and tensions in Albania, addressing directly international partners from the US and the European Union.
In his reaction, the Albanian diplomat stated that calls to distance themselves from violence are right, but raised the question of how citizens should act when the government refuses to listen to the people for months.
"To those in the US and EU who are asking Albanians to distance themselves from violence: Correct! Thank you!
"But please advise us what to do when the Albanian Government has not listened to its People for several months now. We, the Albanians, must find the solution ourselves," writes former ambassador Roland Bimo in his post.
