An Albanian woman has died in Manhattan, New York, after falling down a manhole. American media reports that 56-year-old Donika Gocaj has died.
The incident reportedly occurred on Monday as the woman was walking near the intersection of 52nd Street and Fifth Avenue. The 56-year-old had parked her Mercedes-Benz SUV and had just gotten out. had fallen directly into the well.
