Brad Pitt's mother, Jane Etta Pitt, has died at the age of 84, family and sources close to the actor have confirmed to TMZ and People. Brad's granddaughter, Sydney Pitt, shared a tribute on Instagram, remembering Jane as a loving grandmother with a big heart who taught her to paint, lead with kindness and find joy in life's little moments.
Although Brad hasn't commented publicly, he recently gave her a warm greeting during an interview with Today in June. Jane, a retired school counselor, raised Brad and his siblings in Springfield, Missouri, with husband William Pitt.
