This afternoon, the General Director of the State Police, Director Madhor Skender Hita, together with the Chief Inspector of the IKMT, Afrim Qendro, participated in the operation to demolish an illegal construction, a "beach bar", in the Karaburun area.
The wooden structure was being built by citizens O. Sh. and SD, who had previously been criminally prosecuted and had exceeded the deadline for voluntary demolition.
During the operation, one of the builders, citizen SD, was arrested, while his partner, citizen O. Sh., was declared wanted and work to capture him continues.
Director General Hita and Chief Inspector Qendro, during a statement, conveyed the message to all citizens not to undertake initiatives to carry out construction without a permit, as they will face the force of the law.
Meanwhile, the Vlora Local Police Directorate continues its investigative actions to bring to justice other responsible persons who have allowed or given permission in violation of the law.
