For nearly 20 years, the village of Madhesh in the Shkopet valley has been partially supplied with electricity, with one of the residents of the area saying that the power station is out of order, leaving a good part of the village without power.

According to the mayor of Madhesh village, Zef Gjeçi, only subscribers located near the national road are regularly supplied with electricity, while those across the lake live in the dark.

In addition, the electricity distribution transformer is not placed inside a cabin, but is left in an open environment, increasing the risk of citizens coming into contact with electricity. Consequently, Gjeçi calls on OSHEE to take measures to supply the entire village with electricity, as well as to isolate the transformer.

According to citizens, if the electricity problems are resolved, the area would receive a boost in development, especially in the tourism sector.
