Ermal Jauri has been appointed the new Director General of the National Authority for Classified Information Security (AKSIK).

Jauri replaces Altin Jani in this position, who was dismissed from his post by decision of Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu.

Altin Jani had held the position of Director General of AKSIK since 2024. He had become part of the National Authority for Classified Information Security since 2012.

In support of Article 100 of the Constitution; letter “ç”, point 1, Article 67, and Article 66, of Law No. 10/2023, “On Classified Information”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDE:

Mr. Altin Jani, Director General of the National Authority for Classified Information Security, is relieved of this duty.
Mr. Ermal Jauri is appointed Director General of the National Authority for the Security of Classified Information. This decision shall enter into force immediately and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
