A tetraplegic woman, participating in the protest being held today in Tirana, has recounted the difficulties she has faced for years, demanding that institutions listen more seriously to the problems of people with disabilities.
She said that she has been trying to secure an apartment and carry out an intervention for 10 years, while emphasizing that the journey from Kamza to participate in the protest has been difficult.
"I have been struggling for 10 years for an apartment and to carry out an intervention. I come from Kamza with many sacrifices. I don't know why they don't take our voice, our concerns, seriously. Our voice has been deaf," she said.
She requested more attention from institutions and concrete solutions to the problems affecting people with disabilities.
