A 26-year-old man who was declared an international wanted person surrendered himself this Tuesday at the Tirana Police premises.

This is Armando Marku, who was wanted by the United Kingdom authorities for the criminal offense of murder.

Mark was wanted after being accused of involvement in the murder of a former sniper in the city of Hartlepool, England, an event that occurred in 2019.

British authorities had issued an international arrest warrant against him, as part of the investigation into this serious criminal matter.

After surrendering, the 26-year-old was escorted by the police and it is expected that the relevant legal procedures will be followed against him.
