The Chairman of the Diaspora Coordinating Council, renowned businessman and philanthropist Lazim Destani, a participant in the Diaspora Summit that began its work this Monday, stated in an interview for "Studio 24" that the meetings and summits of the Albanian diaspora are bringing more and more value and concrete cooperation to the country and the region.

Destani said that he has participated in other summits before, but this time he sees the situation differently, emphasizing that each such meeting brings benefits and new ideas for development.

According to him, today in Tirana there are successful businesses of the Albanian diaspora from all over the world, including Australia and other distant countries, which represent different professional and economic profiles.

"The diaspora loves the country and has a lot of positivity. We need to connect more with each other and exchange ideas," he said, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation.

Destani also highlighted that the Diaspora Summit will feature various panels focusing on medicine, business and other fields, where participants will bring concrete ideas and experiences.

Representatives of the Albanian diaspora from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro participate in this event, making it an inclusive platform for nationwide cooperation.

The Diaspora Summit will feature panels on medicine, business, and everyone will give their own ideas. Participants will also come from Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.
