New details are being learned regarding the serious incident in Pogradec, where a 37-year-old pregnant woman lost her life.

According to sources from the Pogradec Maternity Hospital, the 37-year-old presented in the early hours of the morning with severe abdominal discomfort and pain.

After examinations by doctors, a condition was diagnosed ("surgical abdomen"). The 37-year-old was resuscitated and due to her serious condition, she was also given blood, reports journalist Lorena Kodra.

After her condition was assessed by doctors and deemed transportable, it was possible to transfer her to Tirana for further specialized treatment.

But, unfortunately, he passed away on the way.
