The dramatic situation that occurred yesterday evening is one that does not happen often, even in times of war, where the electricity supply is not interrupted in hospitals, due to patients who may lose their lives because they may be intubated or in similar cases.
Journalist Osman Stafa reports that at around 20:30 PM, electricity went out and was absent in the Intensive Care Unit and the surgical room for about 40 minutes.
Patients were then transferred to other facilities that were supplied with power.
"The new 6th floor of the Emergency Room is a building that was not supplied with electricity, but as a building its delivery has not yet been made. Fortunately, so far there are no reports of people who have lost their lives as a result of yesterday's event," reports the journalist, who also adds that the reaction made yesterday by the QSUT is a fraud, as it possesses evidence that proves the lack of electricity for 40 minutes.
