Images shared on social media show that protests will be held in London, Madrid, Vienna, Stockholm and The Hague according to a set calendar.

Protesters demand transparency over development plans in the area, while emphasizing the importance of preserving the Narta Lagoon ecosystem, known for its biodiversity and the presence of flamingos.
The mobilization of the diaspora comes at a time when protests against the project have been ongoing for several days in Tirana but also in other cities in the country, such as Durrës and Vlora, as happened the day before.
