Ivanka Trump has made a different confession, in which she could not hold back her tears. During an interview with foreign media, she spoke about the death of her mother. During the confession, she focused on the battle with the disease as well as the attempted assassination of her father, US President Donald Trump. In the podcast "Diary of a CEO", the 44-year-old expressed her emotions that she had lived a happy life.
"My mother taught me to give my best in everything I do," she said.
Ivanka Trump also spoke about the great impact of losing a parent, especially unexpectedly, linking this to the COVID-19 period, which she said has deprived families of many moments.
"My mother taught me a lot about how to love what I do. I try not to cry anymore. Losing a parent. It feels different for me, you know, especially unexpectedly, especially after COVID, which took us so many years," she added.
During the interview, she also mentioned her grandmother, Marie Zelníčková, with whom she currently lives in Florida, saying that she is irreplaceable to the family.
Ivanka also shared the health challenges of her husband, Jared Kushner, who has twice faced thyroid cancer.
She said that this period, along with the loss of her mother, prompted her to seek help through psychotherapy.
"I had just left Washington. Jared was diagnosed with thyroid cancer for the second time and then my mother died," she said through tears.
Another emotional moment was the memory of her father's assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania in July 2023. Ivanka said she watched the event in real time from a golf club in New Jersey, experiencing fear and anxiety for his life. However, she said she immediately felt that he would be okay.
