New shocking details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred today in the "Kushtrimi" neighborhood in Vlora, where a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured by a gunshot in her apartment.
It is reported that the minor lived with her grandparents, while her parents are divorced. It is learned that the father, who lives with his new wife in a village near Vlora, had requested that the girl move and live with him.
This is believed to have caused tension and opposition on the part of the young woman, who, in a severe psychological state, took a firearm and attempted to end her life by shooting herself with a pistol.
Immediately after the incident, the 17-year-old was initially transported to the Vlora regional hospital, and due to her serious health condition, she was taken to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
Meanwhile, the Police have accompanied her father to take testimony and shed light on the circumstances that led to this extreme act.
