The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora has ordered the security measure "prison arrest" for Geraldo Biba, the private police officer detained after the incident that occurred in Zvërnec on May 30.
The hearing for the assessment of the security measure took place this Monday and was presided over by Judge Etien Isak, while the case was represented by prosecutor Julinda Gjika.
During the hearing, the prosecution filed a request for the imposition of the security measure "prison arrest" against the detainee. After reviewing the circumstances of the case and hearing the parties, the court decided to accept the prosecution's request.
As a result, the security measure "prison arrest" was left in effect against Geraldo Biba, while investigations into the incident in Zvërnec continue.
