On the show "Open Heart" on News24 Author Evis Ahmeti deals with the story of the murder of 33-year-old Albanian man in Greece, Erjon Pelivani, who was shot to death by his brother-in-law, after he was suspected of sexually abusing his minor daughter.
The author's relative was also present in a telephone call to the studio, who revealed some exclusive details about the event.
The cousin of the perpetrator, who was sentenced to 14 years in prison for the murder of his brother-in-law, stated that the allegations of forged SMS and false statements are not confirmed by the court.
"The court has never said at any point that the rape did not happen. It has never been denied that the girl was abused by that man. Only one message was mentioned in the courtroom, and that was three days before the incident." a message without legal weight," he said.
The relative stated that the girl had been a victim of abuse for 12 years by the victim, who was her stepmother's brother. He insisted that the court had not raised any doubts about the allegations of sexual violence, and that if the case had been built on lies, the court's decision would have been different.
"If the girl and Fatmir had slandered, he would have been sentenced to life. He was sentenced to 14 years in the first instance, which means there is an assessment of the facts and another trial is expected on appeal," he concluded.
He added that he was in the courtroom on April 9, during the trial in Larisa, and a day later, the verdict was announced, convicting the perpetrator of the criminal offense of premeditated murder.
