It has been 60 years since the trophy was brought home. In England, fans and the public are hoping that this will be the year, and they are right to dream, as Thomas Tuchel has a star-studded squad and a super Harry Kane at his disposal. Despite this, Tuchel does not see England as a favourite:

"No, we are not among the main favorites. We cannot be because we have not won this tournament for years. There are other representatives who have won it recently, so these are the favorites. We dream a lot, we know what we have to do. We see ourselves as competitors, as challengers, as such we aim to go all the way to the end of this tournament, but I do not think we are the main favorites", Tuchel said.

At the press conference, the England coach was then asked about players like Messi and Ronaldo, world football legends who will also lead their national teams, Argentina and Portugal, in this tournament:

"I don't think you need my opinion on Messi and Ronaldo. Guys, they are the GOATS, the greatest of all time. So they are here and they are the teams to beat. Of course, Argentina, Portugal and Spain are the favourites. So there you have three names from me.", Tuchel said.

England are in Group L alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama. Their first match at the World Cup will be against Croatia on June 17.
