As part of the police operation "Coordination" to prevent and crack down on the cultivation of narcotic plants in the Shkodra region, police services have destroyed 1408 cannabis sativa plants.
A 34-year-old man was arrested in the village of Gomsiqe, suspected of cultivating 130 plants. The operation continues to capture other perpetrators in the region.

A 34-year-old man, suspected of cultivating 130 of these plants, was caught red-handed and arrested in the village of Gomsiqe.
As a result of intensive controls throughout the territory of the Shkodra district, following the police operation codenamed "Coordinates", based on police intelligence, the services of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and the police stations under its jurisdiction have found and destroyed 1408 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants, specifically:
-The services of the Velipojë Police Station found 130 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants in the village of Gomsiqe. During the intervention by the Police services, citizen Denis Gjini, 34 years old, resident of the village of Gomsiqe, was caught red-handed and arrested, who is suspected of having cultivated these plants, which were destroyed by burning.
-The services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat found in the territory of the Temal administrative unit, and destroyed 1278 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants. Work continues to identify, capture and bring to criminal responsibility the author/s of the cultivation of these narcotic plants. The anti-cannabis operation codenamed "Coordinates" continues.
