Another case of selling hard drugs in doses was cracked by the Durrës Police during the operation codenamed "Pikat", leading to the seizure of 297 doses of narcotics such as heroin and cocaine ready for sale in the coastal capital.
The action undertaken by the Narcotics Investigation Sector in cooperation with the Special Force "Eagle" was finalized in neighborhood no. 16, where the 21-year-old with the initials JK, a resident of Shkozet, was arrested in flagrante delicto. During the physical search of the young man, the police services found and seized 129 doses of heroin and 168 doses of cocaine, which were to be distributed in different areas of the city.
The involvement of young people in the distribution networks proves the deep penetration of narcotics at the local level, in a city that continues to remain at the center of such criminal phenomena. The procedural materials have been officially transferred to the Prosecutor's Office for further criminal prosecution.
