DP leader Sali Berisha held a meeting with citizens and MPs in Elbasan. During his speech, Berisha recalled the attacks made against the opposition by the majority.

Berisha emphasized that the goal was for Albania to be without opposition.

Albania without opposition, or false opposition, was a macabre decision not only of Rama but also of Soros and the international mafia. But we democrats are people of "ideals. Dear friends, the last few years, as you are aware, were the most difficult years.
It was an unprecedented ordeal in the history of Europe, that our political force, the force of freedoms and human dignity, the force of the vocation and the Western spirit of our nation, the force of the national interest of Albanians, the force of Albania's integration into the European Union and NATO, faced an aggression like no other political force, with the sole goal of an Albania without opposition. But we democrats are people of ideals.

We stood up for Albania's integration into Europe.
So we stood up for faith in God, in family, and these values ​​are both divine and earthly. It is an ugly crime to attack a political force that adheres to the highest human principles. But this happened.
What was not done to us?
I will quote here a prominent diplomat who was invited by Yuri Kim, after my sanctioning of the 4 main ambassadors, and she asks to show solidarity with our decision, dictated by the corrupt lobbying of Edi Rama and George Soros.
This diplomat says no. I don't sympathize. Why does she ask? I don't sympathize, she says, first of all, because you didn't ask us when you made this decision.
Secondly, that you have absolutely no facts. No, he said, we have, no, you don't. Even in an annihilating way, in the presence of 4 others, he said, no, you don't have any facts. But he said, you gave it back, but the worst thing and what we will never accept, is that you did this to help the government and hit the opposition.
And we believe that the country should have a government and an opposition, and not just a government.
The truth is that this platform was implemented in the most ruthless way on you, on the democrats who dared once again to rise up with the greatest strength against this injustice that no political force in history had ever experienced.
