Regarding the statement of Prime Minister Mr. Edi Rama, according to whom, on Albanian Television News24 The salaries of employees are not declared in full, we clarify that all media employees are employed in accordance with Albanian legislation and their salaries are declared in full with the relevant state institutions.

Every payment to staff is made through the banking system, in a transparent and documented manner. There is no employee, journalist or staff member whose salary is not declared or who benefits from double payments outside of legal declarations.

For this reason, we consider unacceptable any insinuation that may create false perceptions about the integrity and correctness of our media institution and its employees, and directly affects the professional reputation of dozens of journalists, operators, editors and media employees, who exercise their duties correctly and in full respect of the law.

If there is even one concrete case that raises suspicions of a violation of the law, we demand that it be made public and referred to the competent institutions for verification. Otherwise, such statements unfairly damage the reputation of journalists and our media.
