TIRANA - The Court of Appeal has rejected the request of the construction firm for the buildings being built near the Artificial Lake Dam in Tirana. The firm requested that the decision of the National Urban Construction Inspectorate to demolish this complex be declared illegal. But thanks to the decision of the Court of Appeal, the firm must now stop the construction.
This is the second time that justice has ruled on these constructions and the decisions in both cases have been different. On January 14, the First Instance Administrative Court rejected the decision of INUK. This decision left INUK dissatisfied, leading to the animation in the Appeal. The Director of INUK, now IKMT, (National Inspectorate for the Protection of Territory), Dallëndyshe Bici said that with this decision “We won the battle for the suspension, but not the war”.

Under the new administration, the Municipality of Tirana will be a party to INUK and the CITIZENS and not to BETONIN, both for this permit for the dam and the 60 permits that SHQUP treacherously granted in the pre-campaign period and that will see the same battle for cancellation.
