The "USS Delbert D. Black", also known as the American destroyer, docked at the port of Eilat in Israel's Red Sea this morning.
This comes after a tense situation in the Middle East and US President Donald Trump's threats against Iran.
According to the Israeli military, the arrival of the USS Delbert D. Black was planned and is part of ongoing cooperation between the IDF and the US military.
In recent weeks, the US has shifted military assets to the Middle East, increasing firepower and defensive capabilities in the region and giving Trump the opportunity to launch an attack on Iran, following the regime's killing of protesters.
Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the US military is ready to take any action the president decides to take.
Trump has also called on Iran to return to the negotiating table over its nuclear program, threatening that the US will take tougher action if it does not. Tehran has said it will respond "immediately" if attacked.
