The risk of fires in the country remains high on Monday, due to high temperatures and lack of precipitation.
According to forecasts, a "high" risk level is expected in the regions of Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Vlorë and Gjirokastër. While a "moderate" risk level is predicted in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë and Korçë.
Regarding the weather, no rain is expected on Monday, while temperatures will remain high throughout the territory.
The predicted temperatures are:
On the coast: 22°C – 32°C
In low-lying areas: 19°C – 36°C
In mountainous areas: 14°C – 32°C
The wind will blow light to moderate. The combination of high temperatures, wind, and lack of precipitation significantly increases the risk of fire spreading, especially in areas with dry vegetation.
Authorities are calling on citizens to exercise maximum caution, avoid starting fires in open spaces, and immediately notify the relevant services if they detect any fires.
