A search was conducted at the home of the parents of 45-year-old Dhimiter Meci in Albania.
The 45-year-old was arrested in Greece as part of a hit-and-run group. According to Greek media, the searches were carried out by Albanian police.
During the search, only his 84-year-old mother was found in the apartment, while Dhimiter Meci's room was locked. Meanwhile, authorities announced that they found in the apartment, 2 Kalashnikovs, 1 automatic pistol, dozens of cartridges, some of which were inside bags of rice, and 5 Kalashnikov rifles. According to Greek media, these weapons are suspected of illegally crossing the border into Greece.

We recall that during the operation two days ago, Dhimiter alias Dhimo Meci, 45 years old, Fatjon alias Fation Prendi, 39 years old, Andrea Brokeri, 32 years old from Himara were arrested and Vasil Theohari, 31 years old from Krongji i Finiqit, was declared wanted. 4 Greeks were also identified as part of the group, some of whom were arrested.
