On the 52nd day of the anti-government protest, another citizen addressed the protesters with a strong political statement, criticizing Prime Minister Edi Rama for his visit to Theth and demanding profound institutional change in the country.
According to the protester, the prime minister has returned to an area where, according to him, institutions have not functioned and where the government has failed to manage the situation.
"Our Prime Minister returned to the scene of the crime. He returned to where he destroyed, to the place where institutions did not function. He returned to say that I am the king," he said.
The protester also criticized Rama's statements towards protesting citizens, saying that their demands are related to freedom and fundamental rights.
"This prime minister accuses people who come out and demand freedom and rights in this square. Without a trace of shame, he mentioned Law 7501, a law that has encouraged fratricide in this country and mass emigration," he declared.
He also blamed political institutions for this situation, citing Parliament as one of the reasons for the protest.

Parents, tell your children who communism was so that it will never happen again. Tell them who Berisha was so that such a person will never come again. Show them the relationships with criminals so that such a person will never come again. 52 days of resistance, and clear demands for a democratic Albania, this spirit does not stop for any reason, it will continue until the achievement of "Our goals are a new Albania, and a new Constitution, voted by the sovereign," he said.
