Journalist Ermal Peçi in an interview on "News24"commented on the opposition protest and the internal political situation in the Democratic Party.

He emphasized that the DP is no longer an inspiring party, while adding that it is in a difficult situation.

During the interview, the journalist underlined that the DP does not aim for political rotation, but according to him, Berisha's interest is personal.

"As long as the opposition is not unifying, but excluding, then we will see a difficult situation for the DP, these are the consequences of what has happened in the DP, since 2021. The lack of vision and clarity of many political actors has led to this situation. Berisha has not united the DP and this has come since Mr. Basha made the decision to exclude Mr. Berisha. Mr. Berisha returned and today is where he is and did not even overthrow Rama as he promised," he said.

Also during the interview, he emphasized that between the major parties, the SP and the DP, there is simply theater being played.

"Rama Berisha tries to appear as two fierce enemies or opponents, but in fact it is not so. Today he comes out and protests, tomorrow he comes out smiling in the photo. I do not expect the parliament to be an arena, but either Edi Rama is a regime and you do not sit down, but the narrative that these people use and at decisive moments they find common ground. The PS is being shaken by SPAK. So if he comes out and holds refractory positions, even the citizens do not trust him. These people do not have the problem of rotation, but Sali Berisha, Rama and Meta today who are behind bars, have problems with SPAK. It is their real enemy", he said.
