The Police Supervision Agency (AMP), Kukës-Dibar Regional Directorate, has arrested a State Police employee in flagrante delicto, suspected of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty".
Megin Gani Ademi, 32 years old, who held the position of Crime Investigation Specialist at the Dibër Police Station, was arrested.
According to investigations conducted by AMP, it is suspected that the police officer did not carry out the necessary investigative and procedural actions regarding the removal of citizen Amir Muaremi, who was under the security measure of "house arrest" and was in the process of being extradited to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The procedural materials for the case have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office, which will continue further investigative actions.
