The statements of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj and the public wiretaps of Ron Yeffet have prompted a reaction from the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, who has asked SPAK for an immediate and impartial investigation. Bardhi emphasized that the materials made public prove the final capture of the state, where public assets are being divided as Edi Rama's private property and business interests are being subjugated through pressure and corruption.
The most alarming case reported is related to the KAYO company and the possible international arms trafficking scheme. According to published data, weapons originating from Africa were allegedly packaged in Albania with the intention of sending them to conflict zones, an illegal activity that directly violates national security and the country's obligations as a NATO member. Bardhi described the Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, as a purely political puppet of Ron Yeffet, placed in that position to carry out the behind-the-scenes operations of power.
The head of the parliamentary group underlined that Albania cannot continue to function as the personal business of the prime minister, where institutions are used for the interests of a narrow circle of people while those in power remain above the law. Bardhi called on the prosecution to conduct an exhaustive investigation without any political cover or double standards, concluding that the only way to restore the country's breathing space is the immediate removal of Edi Rama and the dismantling of this corrupt system.

Last night's interview with former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj and the wiretaps made public raise extremely serious accusations about the way Edi Rama's government functions.
These are no longer simply political accusations. They are allegations that require an immediate, full, and impartial investigation by SPAK.
SPAK must administer these materials without any delay. Because what is alleged is shocking: division of public assets, favoring private interests, pressure on businesses, and use of Albanian money outside of rules and transparency.
These accusations prove that we are facing a system of state capture, not normal governance.
But the most serious is what is shown regarding the state-owned company KAYO and the possibility of international trafficking of weapons, originating from Africa, to be packaged in Albania and then sent to conflict zones.
This is not an issue that can be closed with a political statement. This is because we are dealing with an issue that affects national security, Albanian law, and Albania's international obligations as a NATO member state.
And the questions are simple: Who runs this mechanism? Who gives the orders? Who benefits? Who is responsible? There is only one answer: Edi Rama!
Yesterday it became even clearer that the Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, is nothing more than a political puppet of Ron Yeffet, placed in that position to serve the interests of the government and to carry out, together with him, the dirtiest works of Edi Rama. A name in an important position, but without the weight and integrity that that position requires, another proof of the way Rama uses the state as an instrument of his political interests.
Albanians cannot have a state where the law applies to the citizen, while the government stands above the law. They cannot have a state where public property is treated as private property. They cannot have a government where institutions are used for the interests of a narrow circle of people.
Albania is not Edi Rama's property.
Public assets are not the property of Edi Rama.
The institutions are not the property of Edi Rama.
And Albania is nobody's business.
Therefore, we demand a full investigation and accountability for any proven violations. No political cover. No double standards. No impunity.
Edi Rama must leave.
Albania needs a state where the law rules, not a government where interest rules. Albania needs to breathe. The state needs to be returned to the Albanians.
