TIRANA – Protests against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the political class continued today, marking the 40th day of rallies held on the boulevard in front of the Prime Minister's Office.
Protesters have chosen this time again to express their dissatisfaction through banners with political messages, some of which focused on demands for institutional accountability and the arrest of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
The banners held by citizens contained messages against the government and political figures, while the protesters demanded changes and more accountability from institutions.
Today's rally is part of a series of protests held in recent weeks, where citizens and opposition supporters have raised concerns about governance, corruption, and the way institutions function.
