Another culminating moment of the 14th massive protest taking place in the capital, for the resignation of Edi Rama, has marked a symbolic escalation of the rally.
A crowd of protesters have climbed the steps of the Pyramid of Tirana, as has never happened before.
At the top of the building, participants waved the red and black national flag, turning this point into another podium of civic revolt. From the height of the Pyramid, protesters followed the flow of the main rally taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office, issuing occasional calls for the government's resignation.
This symbolic action has brought a very dynamic look to the center of Tirana, as the civic movement is using every public space to demonstrate its size and the determination of the youth to seek change.
