TIRANA The 52nd day of the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has been accompanied by another wave of messages and symbols from citizens, who have filled the square with banners and slogans against the government and the political class.
Under calls for change and "a new Albania," protesters have repeated their demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the removal of the old political elite, and the launch of a new political process.
With banners in their hands and messages written in foreign languages, citizens have conveyed criticism of the government, the electoral system, corruption, and policies towards protected areas and strategic investments.
