International media have published new photos from the US Department of Justice file, one of which shows Stephen Hawking.

Hawking was one of 21 scientists invited by Epstein to his island in 2006, while his name appears 250 times in the file without reference to any illegal act.

The photos, according to international media, are also from Epstein's apartment in Paris, which is believed to have been used for sex crimes, which were published by Le Parisien.

French authorities have opened two new investigations into human trafficking and financial crimes following the publication of the Epstein files.
